    The Twilight Zone

Who else enjoys this series? I'm talking about the original series, not the movie made in the 90's. It's on sci-fi, in fact right now it's on, but I'm online now, and don't feel like watching tv.

    The Twilight Zone

One of the best Twilight Zone episodes was It's a Good Life (1961), a tale about an evil six year old kid, named Anthony, that has incredible powers. The story was updated in 2003, with Billy Mumy and Cloris Leachman reviving their original roles as Anthony and his mother, some 40-odd years later.

Another one from 1961 that was very good was The Invaders, starring veteran actress Agnes Moorehead as a woman who discovers a small flying saucer with aliens in her house. Moorehead did the entire show's performance without speaking a word.

    The Twilight Zone

Another really good Twilight Zone episode is To Serve Man, from 1962. Seemingly benevolent aliens come to earth, solve many of the world's problems, and take some human volunteers back to space with them in their ship. The ending is really ironic. Richard "Jaws" Kiel, who is over 7 feet tall, played the head alien. The story, originally in print, was written in 1951 by Damon Knight, a very good science-fiction writer (according to my wife, who reads a lot of sci-fi).
