i suck at talking

yeah when im with a girl i like i get bad at talking and i say stupid things or just nothing at all. which makes it feel weird, which makes it harder to feel normal. am i antisocial or something? what can i do

Im the same way i get a loss of words or say something stupid but its like i can talk to girls over the enternet easy lol. I guess talking with them a lot more will help

i experience similar problems... ive been told its either social anxiety or avoidant personality disorder.... or a combination or the both... sadly there isnt a quick fix for either

my only suggestion would be to just start talking to girls more, whether you are attractive to them or not... go up to random girls and make conversation... chances are you will never see them again if you make an ass out of yourself

idk the problem is i cant make convorsation, espesially right on the spot. sometimes it comes to me, but its the many times it doesnt that suck.

Maybe smoke some before you start hanging around woman or talking to them it could help you open up and enjoy talking to them instead of standing there and making her bored as hell.

well, im not very social when im high, i get immersed in myself. i am when im drunk though. i think the probolem is i cant break the silence. i have stuff to talk about but i dont know how to start a conversation with someone i know nothing about. even some people i do know too. :O

I was very antisocial about a year ago (Weed has nothing to do with being antisocial because I didn't smoke a year ago) But I was really antisocial and shy towards everyone not even girls just like everybody... But then I got a job at a grocery store which forced me to be mature and talk to customers and meet new people/ be around people generally more often (Whole Foods Market BTW) but it forced me to break out of my shell and make conversation with people - at first I was really quiet around the people I worked with and only talked to customers but that changed quickly,m soon I started talking with everyone I worked with and I found my self being able to hold conversations better and not to be self conscious about what I say and to just say it - Well in the end I became sociable again - Just surround yourself with people and be yourself if they don't like you who cares? You only live once don't live your life being someone your not. Just be yourself and say whats on your mind - I can assure you people like it when others are not afraid to state whats on their minds because they are probably thinking the same thing. - Sorry If I got all philosophical on you.

BTW Weed actually did help me become a better person and "Find myself" now I am my own person and I don't fall into trends any more and I am pretty much "me for once in my life"

I'm in the same MagicHerb. Recently I've learned to talk to people instead of hiding away in my shell, but I wouldn't have a clue how to talk to a girl in a more intimate context. This thread should be interesting, I'll keep a close eye on it. Good luck bro.
