Pot makes you interested in NEW things, not less interested in old ones.
You're blowing off skating BEFORE you smoke, so it's not 'de-motivating' you (aka couchlock).
You're probably just changing. That's what people do.

yah that is true. it seems to happen around pot though. theres some thing called the amotivational syndrome, it talks about whether lack of motivation comes before you start smoking weed or it is a cause of smoking weed, or something like that.

ya man i used to go skating with my friends and my bro EVERYDAY, i used to be a fat pothead skater, now all we do is drink and shit and they smoke, i cant right now but now im just a fat lazy drunk hahaha

Well... i would be lying if i said that weed didnt lessened my interest in things. But my uninterest is rather a phylosophical one... after i started to smoke i started to think FAR more than i used to do (and thats saying something, as i always was a great thinker), and i realized the uselessness of everything. As many religions (eastern mainly) states something similar, about the illusional character of the things, i wouldnt say thats a bad influence of the weed, but just a realization brought by it.
