Numb finger tips, quite strange
hey all,
This doesn't have anything to do with cannabis, but this is the only Health forum I know of, so I'll ask you fine people.
I have been getting numb finger tips on both of my hands. It's the same feeling as when your hand or arm falls asleep, kind of tingly. I get it during and right after I go MTN biking. I do long distances and try to do at least 15km a day.
The numbing doesn't go away though. I got home about 2 hours ago, and my fingertips on my 3 fingers are still numbish.
I figure there is low blood circulation going on perhaps? but I'm not sure.
Why else would a person get tingly fingers?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had two separate elbow surgeries, one for correcting the 'ulnar nerve', and the other for the 'radial nerve' ... both of these nerves in the elbows run out into the fingers ... your primary doctor may wind up sending you to a orthopedic surgeon for it ... common ailment, usually refrred to as 'tennis elbow', or 'toker's hand' ...
, sorry, I just HAD to say that

yeah seriously it's weird; I hurt my lower back lifting a couch and had numbness in my extremities and the doctor could not explain the numb tingly feeling. It went away though. I've even heard of a person's whole arm going numb for several months then clears up inexplicably. Maybe sometimes it's a psychosomatic thing

Vibration white finger. All that biking isn't good for your hands.

I'd say having 10,000 posts has something to do with it :P j/k
Might be a long shot, but are you on any prescription drugs? I can't remember what drug I was on, (it was to treat Crohn's), but after taking it for some months my fingers started getting tingly like you said, which they said I should stop taking it if I get that because it can cause some serious nerv issues or something. I would see a doctor about it either way.

Could be from stress. I was getting tingling in my fingers and in my face earlier this year because of stress from school. I'm not getting it anymore though. Go see a doc bro!
