I've found that matches burn hotter and help keep it cherry, as long as you make sure to let the sulfur burn off first.

I have some weed and my bro and I want to smoke it tonight. however, I'm guessing my friends stole my pipe and bic lighter and the only lighters I have are a zippo (which im not sure even works) and one of those torch lighters. I was just going to make a simple bowl out of a can, but I was wondering if it would be bad/dangerous to use one of the lighters above. And I'm thinking matches wouldn't be an excellent idea either.
