Cannabis, your question clearly wasn't racist, just curious based on your observation. Not sure where that comment came from.

Kool-Aid is just a powdered drink mix that flavors water so it tastes like a sweet fruit drink. Kids love it. Cherry and grape are the most common flavors. I know you Brits must have something like it. Do y'all have Crystal Light drink mixes in England? Crystal Light makes powdered lemonade but also cherry and other flavors. And I know there are canned and bottled fruit punches that are mostly sugar water that kids drink over there because I've seen them in stores. Next time you're at the grocery, look on the aisle where they have bottled soft drinks and juices. Somewhere in that area will be a small section with powdered drink mixes to add to water. I expect you'll find something very similar to Kool-Aid.

Here's the Kool-Aid site. Even when I was a kid back in the dark ages of the late 60s and 70s, Kool-Aid's "brand" symbol was a clear pitcher full of colored drink with the smiling face on the side. That smiling face was originally depicted as it were drawn into the condensation on the icy cold pitcher.
Welcome to KOOL-AID® Man's House!

If you want me to get you some Kool-Aid and send it to you, I will be happy to. But I'm not at all sure it'll be to your liking. It really is mostly a kids' thing, and it's both too sweet and strangely dilute. You'll be happier with good English tea or soda, I suspect. Anyway, let me know! You have my email address!
