Should Bush pardon Scooter Libby even after he's been fairly tried?
i said yes, but it's not directly related to anything Libby did. I'm just sick of the white house dumping the consequences of their executive blunders on scapegoats like Libby and Gonzales. The presidency is supposed to have a degree of integrity in exercising executive privilege, like pardons. Bush and Cheney have become pretty expert in dodging the law, but it's not because they are talented in strategy; it's easy to avoid the law when you're president and there's a numerically docile congress.
