my on again off again girlfreind

i have a question for any one whoes ever been in love with someone older. my girl is 16 years older than me she is beautyful in every conceivable way and can say she is my best freind. heres the bad part weve been together for 1year 3 months. she keeps thinking shes too old for me so we break up and still talk every day . when this happens she cries litteraly for hours when we talk on the phone or in person. and without skipping a beat were back in it again. break ups probbly 5 in the last year and last abought 2 weeks. she is going crazy over this and me to but we cant be seperated. ive been in so many shitty relationships before ex wife cheated, another one left me for someone else. im a hopless romantic who beleaves in 1 man 1 woman and would do anything for her and love to be creative and supprise her with a action, a hand made gift , a poem , or a song on my guitar. so my question is do we look odd together and any advice whould be appreciated.

    Me too:thumbsup:
And I think that's all you need to make a relationship with a mature person work.
Of course there are going to be problems, just keep showing her your love....she shouldn't deny it.
    you two look great togther..
hope it all works out for you..

You don't look odd together, and I agree that what it takes to make a relationship work are two people who love each other and are committed to one another, no matter what their differences are.

The only thing that concerns me about the pictures you posted is the fact that I'm not sure you had your girlfriend's permission to post her face on a (worldwide) Web cannabis forum.

This is a good opportunity to kindly remind our members that it's a great courtesy to your friends and loved ones not to post their photographs here without their express permission. There are lots of people who might have very good, valid reasons for not wanting themselves shown to the world, particularly on a forum about a substance that's not yet legal in most parts of the U.S. and the world.

Good luck to you, Unlockit! Once you feel this thread has given you the validation you are looking for, let me know and I'll be happy to take it down to help preserve your ladyfriend's privacy.

you two look very happy together, and i believe that once a person matures and is out of their teen years, has had some life experience, and can make mature and well-thought out decisions, that even a huge gap in age shouldn't be a problem concerning relationships. you both have obviously thought about this a lot, and that's good. relationships work when two people love each other, are committed to one another, and respect the differences of their partner. you guys don't look odd together, not at all!!! you look very much in love, and don't let that go!!! you should just try to reassure her that age is not an issue, that you are both mature adults and that's what matters, and let her know how much you love her
