cooking with small amounts

i love to cook pot stuff, but im dirt poor.

if i wanted to make, say, can butter, to make brownies, is their a way i can:

-make a more efficient way of putting the THC into the food (better than butter?)

or more likely, can i simply make less-i know this is ridicules sounding, but is it worth while to do the cooking if you only have, say (this is just a random number) 4 grams, or will it make such a small amount of food with such a pointless high that their is no reason for making it...?:wtf:

do you need a lot of pot to get a good high from cooking it?
