Is Satan Real?
"What has christianity taught us? We are wrong.
Lust is wrong.
Envy is wrong.
Hate is wrong.
Gluttony is wrong.
Sloth is wrong.
These are all things that come naturally to a person, no?
We shouldn't have to believe these things are wrong, or feel guilty doing what makes us feel good"
RIGHT ON!!!
"satan's a scapegoat for mans own animal instincts. we'd rather blame a mythological figure for all the hate and violence in the world and within every person than face up to the fact were the source of the evil in the world."
yup
"^mans an animal which tries its hardest to distance it self from other animals, we try to do this by making up myths about gods, which attemps to justify mans sense of supperiority. "
hell yes

Well, it all comes down to human ego really, that we're so important that the greatest being in existence is concerned with us.
on a side note, what always bothered me about the afterlife is, who gets to go? I mean I always though if I get to go to heaven, shouldn't my dog too? he was a really nic spirited dog, very kind hearted. but then where is the line drawn if he can get in? do all the ants, and beetles, and bacteria, and jellyfish go to heaven?\"Nirvana is the extinction of self\" - Buddha

Religion is the true evil of the world. It is what drives most wars. It is what is behind many murders. Religion is the worst thing man has ever invented. If it wasnt for religion, and oil, America wouldnt have taken over Iraq. If it wasnt for religion, Osama wouldnt have had his men fly fully loaded planes into the world trade center and the pentagon.

Is Satan Real?
So yes satan is real, and its not some angel, or guy with horns, or some metaphore meant to make real in the minds of simple peasants TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO (yes they had to tell fairy tales for poeple to believe things back then)
Tyr was a society built on unhealthy behaviour and ideas perpetuated by the few teh brave the...wealthy. A land of the free no less.
Satan is a direct translation either as teller of lies, or of untruths or something like that (dont remember the exacpt phrase, but thats the idea behind it)
That means lies. Lie-ers. Us. You, me, him, her, these are the manyfold mouths of the great beast beelzebub.
Lies are designed to misdirect poeple, and modify thier desires, thus influencing the focus of their intentions (hmmm keeps on coming back to that huhn...)
The german people didnt want to eradicate jews, they were presented an easy target and fed lies. crystal nacht anyone?Thanatos was once a popular name. It means death.
Dick is also a popular name.
