    im still waiting

well, this is one of my plants that i am patiently waiting for. (except for a couple of taste tests) theyre at 6 wks and looking like they should be done in a week i think. i wanted to post pics, but i still dont have an adapter for the pc so i took a couple with the web cam. not the best pics i know, i am just getting impatient ill get some more pics just before i take them down and after trimming and drying. this is my first try at indoor under a 150w hps for veging and flowering.

COOL. Congratulations on your first harvest!
Have you ever thought about vegging under shop lights? It is certainly worth a try, and you can save space in your flower room that way= twice the harvests, woot!

dammmm. dude. that looks yummy yumm.

there R 2 ways that I know of as to when buds R ready for harvest.

1st is when all the pistels/hairs have turned brown.

2ed is to get a microscop and look at the trich/cristals and see if they look milky wite or amber in color.

    here try this.

well I hope this will help some.

:dance:thanks guys. alot of the hairs have turned, but not all. some buds were a little shaded because i ran out of height and had to keep tying them in different ways. you can see some pretty good frost but not really heavy. i was considering 2 more wks but most are comming along pretty fast, we will see i guess.
yes i have considered shop lights and i probably will use one soon for a mother and clones. i have a clone of this one and another that im pretty positive is a female( and a couple more of each that i just started) but they are outdoors right now.6 seedlings were started under a cfl. im buying a 400w sunleaves switchable ballast as soon as my outdoor plants come through, ive already got the cord and reflector. the plan is to use a shoplight like you said and use my 150whps to grow out new strains make clones and get seed crops. and use my hopefully purchased 400w to flower with. a crop every 2 months im hoping. shortly after getting this one working i plan on getting a 600w, i wanted one first off, but it doesnt come with a switchable ballast. this should be more than enough for my needs. plus i need to get timers and carbon filter and such, this grow was sort of a pain because i had to do everything by hand. but i have had no extra cash at all. im thinking of starting off with northern lights then go from there and get to the more smelly strains after i get the scrubber.

LOL - at the risk of someone flaming me for telling you this, there's a real good DIY on a carbon scrubber over in the FAQ section. I made one following those plans, except it was bigger, for 6" duct. It only took about an hour to build and the parts were pretty cheap - a whole lot cheaper than buying one.

ive seen the plans and that was what i was going to do when i needed one. the fans are sortof expensive too though. 2 plants didnt smell my place up hardly at all. had good natural venting. thanks though. why would someone flame you for telling me that? i make references to other posts all the time if i think it will help.

In the last two days a couple of people/trolls have jumped all over me for doing it - not that I give a rat's ass - I just never know when I might get blindsided again.
