I too was suspicious that heat was on the grow and that's why he left, but now I'm just thinking he's crazy for leaving his plants behind, lol. Or maybe that was his compensation to you, for not paying the rent. Maybe he knew you'd find them and enjoy them, lol.

i haven't heard from him, but i've been hearing things and from what i gather it was a finance issue. he was supposedly down to his last few dollars and found some work out of state for a few months (roofing). he was also going through shit with a chick that i know was getting him real down. all he had to do was level with me and i would have worked something out with him. anyway, i'm thinking that at some point he'll resurface wanting to talk. as for the "vegetation"... he knows i'm a nut and probably knew i'd take to these things as if they were my own. i mean i used to smoke with the guy just about everyday, i dunno... the whole things bums me out, but the plants are a nice distraction.

LOL - Looks like you've been bitten by the bug.

Once they get roots, the clones will be hardy little plants. You can get them a little crowded laterally, but you will need to either top them or give them the room they need for verticle growth. Also keep in mind that the roots are growing faster than the plants at this point and you don't want them to get root bound.

bitten is an understatement! i feel like i've been lobotomized by jorge cervantes!

so that's good news, as my homemade clone dome provides plenty of vertical growth space! i took a 6" pot and divided it in 1/4's using chipboard (cardboard backing from pads), for a dome i used the plastic from a 100 count dvd spindle, it's clear plastic and provides plenty of height. i've had them on a 24/7 light schedule, using a small cfl and once a day i just spray some water into the dome to keep it moist under there.

these pics are from the 1st week, since then they've grown... i'll take new pics later this week.

i should also mention that I didn't go crazy with the trimming of the fan leaves. i just cut what i felt was necessary to open the plant up to more light penetration.

these pics are from the 1st week, since then they've grown... i'll take new pics later this week.

If the clones are growing, you need to get them into individual pots ASAP - even an 18 oz. plastic cup would be preferable to what you have now. You may be getting 1"-2" of root growth per day and that single pot thing is just bad news.

Also, if they are growing, you can dispense with the dome. Misting a couple times a day should keep them healthy.

If you took the clones when the plants were in flower, expect some weird growth as the clones re-veg. That's a revegging Indica in the pic.

I had a couple of imaginary friends,but they grew up and move away.They didnt leave anything.They must have moved off with the gnomes!You got to watch them gnomes they will steal your bubs.Those girls look like they are almost ready for the prom.About 3 weeks more to go hey.Giving them any carbs to fatten up the bubs?More pixs and say Hi to the gnomes for me. Yeah, those fucking gnomes. I recently got raided by the money gnomes, wtf... Yeah so I'm kind of hungry and go into the kitchen and realize those damn food gnomes came too. Even the beer gnomes came... What am I gonna do?

Guess I'll just have to wait for an update here. If you see any gnomes, give em a good kick in the teeth for me :jointsmile::thumbsup:
