You've got MALE.
An even easier place to see the sex is in the divit where an upper branch attaches to the main stem. New leaf growth isn't in the way, and to an untrained eye, the tips of new leaves can be confused with pistils.

There will be pollen all over as they unfortunately look like male bananas to me too
