I am a people watcher. I'm sorry, but I am. I have gotten quite good at looking at people with out staring. But once in a while someone will make eye contact with me while I'm looking at them. Then I get embarrassed. Sunglasses are great for people watching !

I try to be subtle about it and watch folks when they don't know I'm looking, but sometimes they sense it. Somehow some of my childhood training in how to be a proper young lady was not to stare, and I think women in general aren't as bold about the eyes because we tend to feel the need to be more demure. But I do observe the heck out of people when I think I can get away with it. And the whole time, my mind is spinning these fantasies of what they do, where they live, how they live, whether they are happy or not. All based on just looking at them!

Yeah same thing here, I'll be listening to music or watching a movie, and I get so involved in my thoughts that I can't remember listening to the last 10 seconds of the song, or seeing the last 10 seconds of that movie. It's crazy, it's almost like my senses shut off during that time of thinking.
