Obama/Edwards
I respect the heck out of both John Edwards and Barack Obama, and they'd be my dream Dem ticket team, too. I think they'd be more electable than Hillary up against the Repubs. Edwards is wickedly smart and articulate. And he grew up poor, then worked hard to get his education, and got wealthy the way all plaintiff's attorneys do. He has knowledge, understanding and sympathies of poor folks in way that many educated, well-to-do folks who come from very modest backgrounds do.
I think the actual ticket is going to end up being Hillary/Obama, judging from the Obama fund-raising and the fact that she's hardly made a misstep so far in this campaign. I increasingly am beginning to believe they're going to be electable, too. Bush keeps helping them along.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
