Coming or Going?

Did you ever notice that Christ always asked people to come to Him? He never demanded that they receive him. He always extended invitations.

There are many commands He gives where He says, â??Goâ?�! But He never commanded anyone to go that did not first come to Him?

Well, Heâ??s extending an invitation to you this morning, Stonerz! Have you already accepted Christ? Then tell Him today how you want to accept Him if you have never really trusted before; if youâ??ve never really turned over complete control to Him â?? tell Him you want to do that NOW!

If you accept His redemption, His complete redemption â?? He will save you. If you will come to Him - then He can talk to you about going. Until then â?? until then â?? He says come to Him and just accept His Salvation!

Somebody is saying, â??Iâ??m not ready to accept Christâ?�. That is your choice.

Someone else is saying, â??Well, Iâ??m not good enoughâ?�! You will never be good enough.

This is why He says, â??whosoever will may comeâ?�. That means, whosoever will. You have to will; itâ??s all in your hands.

As an unbeliever you must accept His redemption by simply coming to Him â?? nothing else. He is the way, the truth and the light. Christ said, â??No man cometh to the Father, but by Meâ?�.

Acceptance of His invitation is up to you!

Dear God - I pray that although I am trying to reduce this to simplicity, I know these are really the complexities. We are just standing on the fringe looking in. You have told us we are just babes, and that we are only drinking milk - yet you want to prepare meat for us, so that we may grow. Dear God, enable us to come to maturation; where we can accept and receive these great truths which will make us effective today. Jesus, deliver us from this low level of protesting, objecting and marching on others. We pray you will bring us to a place that is fit for your use; and we pray these things in Jesusâ?? Name. Amen.
