dude, by saying this you are basically condemning all muslims to be terrorists who feel they must take over the world..
do you even know any of the muslim faith? you should speak to a few of them before you say those types of things. they are a faith just like any other, there are always going to be people who misunderstand it and resort to terror and violence, but that isnt a majority of them by any means...

My "faith" in the Muslim moderates would be much more if I were to see Fatwas against all types of terrorist acts issued. The Islamic Supreme Council of America issued a Fatwa on terrorist acts but the wording was so vague that extremists still had a doorway for acts against what is considered enemies against Islam.

I'm NOT stating that all Muslims are terrorists or extremists but I am saying that it's time for them to step up and be heard.

uhm, there were terrorist attacks when Clinton was in. They just didn't reach your homeland, thank God.

there wouldn't have been attacks against our military overseas had our military been here at home where they should fucking be. why do we need to be the world fucking police anyways, our military benefits OUR country 100% more if they're here at home...here at home with their families? why is the united states DEA all over the world? WTF??? Why can't we spend all of our money HERE? If they invade us, I will defend my country, until then..tighten security for our homeland..,,and I'm not going to die for another country, they wouldn't raise a fucking hair to help me or any of my fellow americans if the shoe was on the other foot..we're over helping the stupid fucks that I saw as a younger kid burning american flags on TV...

You truly don't think that your soldiers are helping your country right now? If you don't try to do something about terrorism, it will rule your life. If we just sit, like CLINTON did...we can expect another(maybe multiple)attack(s), and then where do we stand. It's the right thing to do to combat these people, because they hate us, and our ideological differences clash too much to find common ground.
I agree with your world police stance...and I don't like America doing that either...but who else will? Who else has the power? Or the ability to do anything?
Personally, I enjoy the fundamental freedoms of living in a democracy, and don't take kindly to anyone who wishes to hinder them.
I thought America was very strong on that front, and even if your citizens don't support the war, I was under the impression that they had at least the decency to support those men and women while they are over there. Even if you don't agree with the mission, you could at least show some respect for those who've been ordered to go.

A lot of very good points you made there. We need to change the way we deal with those societies, and it's absolutely correct that our military should not be in many of the places they currently are. This is not to say that the attacks during the last 15 years, both home and abroad, are justified - but we're not looking out for ourselves, nor are we being looked after properly by this government. I have to give the Bush administration some credit for the fact that there have been no more domestic attacks, but going after Saddam may have opened-up a worse situation than we had when he was in power. I've always been a proponent of staying out of the Middle East entirely. This is one of bin Laden's demands, and many of the mainstream Muslims unfortunately aren't far behind. Leaving them, as in a boycott, would mean sacrifices, and the average person is not willing to do this - even though in the long run we'd be far better off. The people of the Middle East would end up bowing and scraping, literally begging for our buisiness if we didn't buy oil from them. I'd wager bin Laden would be found REAL fast. If not, fuck 'em - we can find other ways without their help.
