    What's so wrong with stealing?

I know their is allot of moral dilemmas about it, but what happen to the Robin Hoods? I mean, these days everything is insured, and some times people are so overflowing with their greed that are wreck less with their property. Don't get me wrong, you catch me in a dark alley you would probly just get a nod (considering I would probably be high as hell, and wondering why I'm in a dark alley).

I did a little math today at work and I have came to the conclusion that "taxes are strong arm robbery", The government including state and federal take a total of 25% of my monthly earnings. That is ONE FORTH of my "blood, sweat, and tears". Sure you file your taxes and get some back, but what for, I wanted it when I earned it. Uncle Sam gives it to me in April, "Here you go boy, 4-20's coming up. enjoy for about two weeks." U.S. takes 25%, that's not counting overpriced parking/moving violations, and they charge you to go anywhere. sometimes more to get back. lol, Forgot my ID one time when I went to TJ, good times. . .

I guess the point that I am really making is I can see points and Grey areas where stealing might be an option that i would not consider so shocking and wrong.

I would like to hear what you think. keep in mind that i am stoned and probly didn't make any sense. . . I was a Pirate in another life. . .:hippy:

Taxes pay for order. Stealing is wrong on such a deeper level that it can't be justified with insurance companies and government. Stealing hurts people, and we're all people. You wouldn't want something stolen from you, don't do it to someone else, capiche?

Well, according to the story, Robin Hood was rich himself, and never kept any of the loot. Plus, what he stole was originally the peasant's money paid to the Sheriff because of heavy taxation. In that case, he was technically taking back what was illegally taken from the peasants. If you steal from someone who worked for and legally acquired his wealth, then that is totally wrong. .

If anybody thinks there is nothing wrong with stealing then they are more than welcome to try and steal from me, if they are lucky enough to get past the dogs(extremely unlikely) they will most probably be shot once they get inside,

I work damned hard for what I own and no fucker with who thinks it's OK to help themselves as I'm insured is going to take it from me..

To the best of my knowledge Robin Hood did not steal to feed a crack cocaine habit like most of the thieving bastards about this area.

I pay taxes as well but does that give me the right to steal.

I do not see any reason that makes stealing right.

    Just my opinion.

I have had thing taken from me, I'm not to going to start naming crap off but man enough to make a dent. I am positive that more has came out of my pocket s to pay for "Government Economic". You might feel that your taxes goes to things that need it, But at the same time it is being used to hold down a society . They spend the money on drug cops who profile their suspects, they take it from you so you can't afford a descent life, they spend it on Cameras/meters to hand out more tickets, they even spend it on public services like this "freeway" in my city that is growing yet becoming more useless as people are loosing their homes.

I live in Los Angeles, allot of people say that life is a little more surreal here, but I don't know. All I know is what I see, and what I see is not what life was ment to be. . .

I think I am being miss understood, I live a very simple life and in no way would promote theft for wealth or self gratification. . .

I feel that every time I pay one of these taxes, i kick another Mexican back over the border, I put another friend in jail, I put a fucking bullet in a clip of a gun where i don't know is pointing, I understand that joined funds are needed to maintain a healthy economical balance. I just don't understand why the rich keep getting richer, the poor are getting even poorer, and the middle class citizen is looking the other way or just buying into the Red light sale that is media politics. . .sigh
