I'm not sure what your question is here. There are very few ways to "speed up" maturation time of MJ. I wouldn't want to go putting up methods that may or may not produce a noticeable effect, but some involve preflowering at an intermediate photoperiod and using Carbon Dioxide.

Either way, the difference is minimal (a matter of days, not weeks) and it is recommended that you pick a strain with a shorter flowering time, like Topp44 or AK-47, etc...if that is what you are looking for.

You are 6 weeks into it...I seriously doubt there is much you can do at this point to speed up your plants, other than just simply harvesting them early, which will give you a more head high instead of a body stone, and may possibly affect yield a bit. If you do harvest early, you will want to make sure that you still flush well prior to harvest. This is very important.

    shaitanx, lol.

dragonbud...well, if they are going to be ready 5 days before you go on vacation, you will be really pressing it trying to take them with you on holiday.

MAYBE if you chop them a few days early (knowing that it is not ideal), and if you use the watering method I described in your other thread, then maybe you will be able to have 7 days of drying and you will be able to have some dry (non-cured) bud with you on your vacation.

You're really pushing it, though. Next time, don't plan your vacation so close to your harvest time.

Oh, and if you do this, you will also have a problem curing your buds without being there to open them everyday...which can result in MOLD! ....and then you lose all your weed. :sadcrying

I just saw another one of your threads. Aren't you growing Blueberry? You said "this would be handy as my buds are ready 5 days". How did you calculate this? Blueberry is usually NOT an eight week strain.

tell me about it we go on what we call caravan holidays (trailers) and i'm planning on curing it the first week with me in my caravan so dealing with the smell should be fun.
i;ll put it in jars that i have saved and open it every day then bring it home and back to normal .
if i put a few buds in the car over night they should at least be smokeable.

i was going on an average of seed sights if you know what i mean and i got them from dutch passion which i will check again in a min ,but i'm sure it said 55 to 65 days which i have changed to 8 weeks and just looking at the calender they would have been flowering for 60 days the day before my holiday .
please be ready ,so how about turnng the lights to 8 /16dark to speed the finishing up?

Hmm...Interesting. I wouldn't know anything about that, honestly. I would think 16 hours is a little much, though. Personally, if I were to try something like that, I would go from 12/12 to 11/13 to 10/14 and end there. But, again, I dunno what I'm talking about.

    How are the trichomes looking?
