Insomnia
Since i have started my new job, i have felt my whole life change. I now work nights instead of days. i feel more lonely now because when im up everyone is asleep. I now have a week off and i have stayed up all day today since 10 am, the night before this i stayed up until 4 in the morning. It feels as if i only need a couple hours of sleep. I don't feel my mind tired but my body is starting to feel tired. When i lay down with the lights off i at least lay their for 2-4 hours before i feel my eyes closing, im lucky if i ever get into a deep sleep. and when i smoke , i have to smoke a grip for it to knock me out but it can get me to that relax feeling so its easier for my mind to drift off to sleep, ...
Anyone here experience insomnia problems?

I don't think that you have actual "insomnia" - it's probably a reaction to trying to sleep during the daytime, which most people cannot do very well, if at all. If you could sleep well at night before this job, you're not an insomniac.
I wouldn't recommend working nights long-term. I did, and almost cracked up - in spite of the fact that I'm a lifelong "night person", typically staying up past midnight, and was able to sleep during the daytime. Some companies with night shifts are aware of how unhealthy working nights is, and rotate their employees' shifts periodically.

I have some major insomnia issues. But i'm taking 50mg of seroquel at night now to sleep, works pretty good. The lower the dose of seroquel, the more effective it is at making you sleep. Oh and i'll give some advice. Excercise an hour or before you want to go to bed. Make sure the room you are trying to sleep in has no distractions. Try taking an OTC sleep medication such as benadryl or melatonin. And start getting a regular sleeping schedule. Since your job is forcing you to sleep at a different time this may not work, so unless you want a different job you may just hve to suffer. Oh and smoking a good indica does wonders for insomnia.

Insomnia
My sleep has varied for a number of years now...instead of worrying about it, I just sleep when I am tired and have time..

fuck that lifeLove is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.
