Everyone should definitely try it with a 3gallon jug too, you won't be able to take it all in one hit, took me 3 to clear it each time but it goes down sooo smooth, its amazing.

Word of the wise though.. Instead of cutting the bottom entirely off, just cut the little 5 feet on a 2 liter bottle off.

Having 5 small holes allows the water to leave in a more even pace, making the hit draw much, much, much thicker.

Think of it like a diffuser. If you have one hole from a down pipe the smoke still goes down. But with a diffuser you have several smaller holes. Thus allowing more smoke to be pulled, at a much more even distribution.

You don't have to cut too much off either, just the bottom flat-ish feet.

Another great idea, if you only cut the feet off, is to squeeze a ping-pong ball into the holes where the feet were. When you press the bottle down into the water the ball will get stuck at the neck of the bottle, preventing any nasty-ass bong water from getting in your mouth. It takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you'll be able to get all of the smoke into your lungs before the ping-pong ball rushes to the top of the bottle.

An alternative would be to drill/cut a moderate sized hole in the neck of the bottle, to use as a carb. Cover it while you pull up, and uncover when the bottle if fully underwater. If you let off the carb too soon you'll waste a lot of smoke because it'll shoot out of the carb. But if you let off at the right second it prevents the water from rising higher than the carb, and allows all of the smoke to be cleared with no risk of bongwaterinmouthitis.

I don't care what you say Oman, you can't clear it, theres wayyy too much air in there for the human lung to hold at once. Its not a matter of being able to take all the smoke, its a matter of inhaling as much as you possible can and realizing theres still about half left.

I've always wondered what it'd be like if you cut holes instead of taking the whole bottom off, I'll have to try that one of these days.

Yeah, cutting the holes off also prevents it from 'locking' up. You know, where the water gurgles really heavily and half the water is out of the bottle, so the smoke is nowhere near as thick.

2 liters? thats crazy people, ive been smoking every day for like 7 months and i cant even do a full 16 ouncer. i probly do like 12 ounces and its pretty decent, a full 16 ounce almost makes me sniffle a little. idk how u can do a 2 liter thats gotta FUCK you up... i wish i could, too bad id cough and puke lol. oh well they FUCK ME UP!!

lol lightweight, 2L ain't nothin' man. Just pack less bud. Bigger ones are better because more airflow cools it off 'n gives you a better hit, maybe thats why you have a hard time with smaller ones. I found water bottle sized ones to be a bit harsh.

'n orangeman I wasn't sure if you were serious or not, but those are pretty heavy duty so if you do try it expect to be completely fucked, in a good way :rastasmoke:
