i got phished on myspace >

i go to login and check to see if a friend had wrote me back yet, and i see a bulletin thingie from "tom" saying that i'd been phished and they've blocked my account. the good news is the person who phished me can't send anything or do anything on my account...the bad news is i have to enter my current pw, a new one, and type out the letters on the image for verification....and the IMAGE DOESN'T EFFIN SHOW UP, just a red "x"

Lol. Consider this a gift from Tom and the rest of the myspace crew. You shouldn't use myspace. I was talking to some myspace employee's last weekend and the money the company makes is ridiculous. Every 15 seconds when and ad refresh's myspace makes money...which is rediculous for what type of evil is created from the site.

I got the same message from "Tom" today. If I try to change my P/W it gives me a 'server too busy' message

i got sent to a fake myspace site it looked exactly the same as the real one but firefox gave me a warning saying it was a phishing site

I just went back and checked again. "Tom" has posted the following bulletin:

if you got locked for being phished in the last hour, it's a bug! we're working on fixing it right now. sorry about that! the mechanism to detect if your account has been phished has been very powerful for stopping phishing, but it went a little haywire just now. things should be back to normal soon! if you're wondering what phishing is, read my blog
