i take very good care of my mouth lol. numerous people told me that its hard to get an infection and not to over do it with mouthwash and shit while it was healing but your probably right.

I changed my lip ring a little too soon and got a slight infection, which luckily cleared up on its own with normal cleaning. I was also cleaning it TOO much..not giving it time to heal. The difference between my lip and your tongue is that your tongue is a muscle and an infection in your tongue is going to travel a LOT quicker to your blood and such then my lip..

Your mouth is EXTREMELY dirty..think of all the germs you're breathing in, everything your putting in your mouth..cigarettes? weed smoke, drinks, food, sticking your tongue out, ect..ya dig?

oh and do NOT use mouth wash with alcohol. Do not rinse with peroxide or anything like that..it'll kill the "good" germs that help it heal..

yes, i was told that something in your saliva kept your mouth very clean though... like it killed germs and shit. idk though im no dentist...
