definitely no. it too much resembles treating the site like a personal hard drive. But mostly, the internet is meant to be an unregulated frontier, in which information is free and not manipulated to accomodate preference. If not, it wouldn't be as diverse and unbiased. We have too much arbitrary influence on mainstream media, it's a rare and singular thing to have something like the internet where truth can be told from all sides from all points of view. Being able to revise info once submitted is not in this same spirit, and could lead to more overt manipulation.
