Some shit out there is pretty big...like asteroids or whatever........ok in early 90s there was a comet that hit saturn or jupiter, and just the cloud from it wouldve engulfed earth many-a-time. fucked up huh? ok...now just a few years ago a comet passed us very closely. It was the distance from the earth to the moon and back. just twice as far away from us as the moon. That has only been in Rating: 5

yes this is true, but in a few years hopefully we will know where all the meterorites are (right now i believe the United states is the only country with scientist watching the skys looking for this type of thing, but they dont know the paths of all of the ones out there yet). And hopefully if this ever happends we will have buiilt sometype of space tugboat type ship and it will be able to grab on and then fire its jets and tug that rock saftley outta the path with the earth.

yeah i saw a show about that.....they had a few different ideas. The one you are describing is one of them...but they were saying something like that would take longer than 2 years of foresight to move it that much. and that right now the most logical thing they could do is blow it up into a bunch of smaller pieces, even though those results might be even more devastating,
