grow setup... is it ok?
my friend is going organic for the most part and he was wondering if this grow setup and soil is ok
going to transplant into 5 gallon buckets at the 2 week mark.. putting rocks in the bottom to help drainage..
20% organic compost (old fruit, old dinner etc)
20% pearlite
35% foxfarm happy frog organic potting soil
35% foxfarm ocean forest organic potting soil
10% worm castings
with this he will be using the following
Veg growth : fox farm grow big fertilizer
flowering: fox farm big bud and tiger bud fertilizer
its an outdoor grow.. what do you think?xLightItUpx Reviewed by xLightItUpx on . grow setup... is it ok? my friend is going organic for the most part and he was wondering if this grow setup and soil is ok going to transplant into 5 gallon buckets at the 2 week mark.. putting rocks in the bottom to help drainage.. 20% organic compost (old fruit, old dinner etc) 20% pearlite 35% foxfarm happy frog organic potting soil 35% foxfarm ocean forest organic potting soil 10% worm castings Rating: 5

Could be worse lol!!!
I would increase to amount of perlite a little bit. And be sure that the compost is WELL broken down.
Also, if you are using home-made compost, remember not to bring it in the house (pests), and add some myco-stim to your soil mix if you want to really maximize its benefits.
