yes it does matter, but even though it isnt 12/12 our outdoor plants start flowering around mid august. i guess they just know that its time. some strains may start flowering at 13 or 14 hours of light.
twoguysupnorth Reviewed by twoguysupnorth on . daylight and flowering question Hey i was just wondering, does a plant need to have 12/12 lighting to start flowering? because around where i live, natural daylight reaches 12/12 around mid-september. last year my plant started flowering around that time and it sucked cuz i had to harvest early due to hunting season. my plants are about 5-6 weeks old right now, so what do you guys think, does flowering depend on the lighting or not?
