if you have a aftermarket cd player in your car it should have came with a couple removal "keys" just take out your cd player put weed behind, and slide cd player back in. have the keys in your glovebox and all is good.
the keys are normally just long flat pieces of metal and are pretty inconspicuous.

For traveling with small amounts..my makeup brush (a big powder brush) comes apart and it's hollow inside the handle, it's not obvious that it comes apart..nor is it loose or falls off.

Been doing it for a good while now. If you're worried about the goods getting wet, just place some paper towels over it.
