Try watering in the very early morning instead so there is no chance of moisture sitting on the tree in the dark and possibly causing or contributing to fungus.

Temps have been high but it gets watered either every or every other day and has seen worse temps than this over the years without problems. Ive certainly never seen the leaves turn red this early and my neighbors trees aren't doing it....same kind and they have quite a few. None of theirs look like this.
