Sorry I know it's hard. You will save yourself some bad time though. I have smoked mouldy buds and the spores still get in your lungs. Man it can take months to get rid of a cough if not worse. Try telling your doctor why you can't quit coughing and have some flu like symtoms for months. It took me a while to figure out what did it to me. Then you can't hardly smoke any good stuff for the cough. Wish I knew a way to process it to get rid of mould.

I would suspect that if there WERE a way to process mouldy bud for use, it would be in solvent extraction.
I would want to know a lot about the toxicity and solubility of substances in mold spores before trying this though, and it's outside my milieu.

Yes there are ways. The only certain way is to make Butane hash, which is one of the best ways to do it anyways. This produces a wonderful hash oil (honey oil) that can range in potency and color and can be even further refined by boiling off any remaining moisture. This is really the only way to use moldy bud safely.

However, you can use bubble bags fairly well. The process is pretty much business as usual, however you can let the bags sit a little longer and the mold/mildew is lighter then THC and it will float to the top of the water, where the crystals float to the bottom. You can then skim this nasty film off the top of the water and finish the bubble bags like normal. Mold spores may be smaller then thc heads, but they also should be filtered through the various grades. I dont smoke the 25 grade anyways and I dont smoke anything higher then a 120. Im not saying its 100%, but Ive been doing it for a bit and I am ok with it because I have a process that works for me.

But... if they are smaller, couldn't you wash them through the final filter?
