how do you make a gravity bong? ive never done it before

Hey guys and gals

So.. my buddy James and I were deceiding to get creative as we smokethis big sack we aqquired, so we thought about it and realized neither one of us has ever made a gravity bong but heard a lot about it...

I've heard they're really easy to make, so what's an easy way to make one?

Put fire to bowl while pulling up on bottle > When chamber is full, remove bowl/blunt/whatever > push down on bottle > water will push smoke back out of the top of the bottle in effect blowing you a gun.

We built a 6' GB out of two of those upside down water jugs, electric water pump and some PVC pipe. You had to have a lot of weed to smoke it though. I'll look for a diagram or draw you one or something later.

The bowl doesn't have to have a stem going into the bottle btw, just the suction will do.

Yes, suction will do, but for the ultimate filter-through water, you want a long stem. The bottle will fill up with smoke regardless though.

- is the same as saying -

"I lose 25% of the THC into the water, so I have to smoke more to get high, which means I inhale even more of carcinogens through a water filtration system, then if I would have just inhaled straight smoke, with no water filtration system."

One of my favorite home made peices is the waterfall. Take a two liter bottle soda bottle (normal size will work too). Take the cap and make a hole so you can fit some type of bowl in it. I use a lighter and when it is hot push the tip of the bowl in so it cools and makes a better seal. Then near the bottem cut a small hole. While covering the hole fill the bottle with water. Light the bowl and let off the carb allowing the water to flow out. Keep the bowl lit till all the water is out. Unscrew the cap let of the carb and inhale. Very easy to make and a nice hit off of it as well.
