If your flood and drain can handle the roots, fuck it, tie it over, so head room is no issue. And let it sit for a week or so to let any shock of tieing it down wear off, and flower. If your flood and drain cant handle the roots, then your best bet IMO is to chop the top and trim the rooms down, let it heal up from that for a couple weeks, then flower.
