Anyone else occasionally have a Lord of the Rings movie marathon?
I've done it about 6-7 times now since the movies have been out. Where I'll pick a day usually a Saturday and watch all 3 Extended Edition movies back to back to back. It really raises the overall experience, as it builds up in all the movies so if you've stayed focused and really watched them by the time you get to Return of the King, the movie becomes so much more emotional.
It does take a full damn day, with extended editions you are looking at about 11 hours of movie.
One of those 6 times I even threw in The Hobbit cartoon movie first. I need to rebuy that.Melkane Reviewed by Melkane on . Anyone else occasionally have a Lord of the Rings movie marathon? I've done it maybe twice. It's actually pretty fucking fun, maybe i'll do it today. First time I did it I was constantly smoking gbong bowls(well every hour) and it was fucking awesome. Another fun movie to do it with is Star Wars.

Yeah I've been planning to do a Star Wars run of all 6 movies here anytime now, I just keep getting sidetracked with other things. I recently finished watching all of That 70s Show series and Eric in the show refers to Star Wars all the time which got me thinking about the marathon. Perhaps I'll do that this weekend.

I did it once in March with a friend....and yeah, I know what you mean about the emotions; by the time of Boromir's death in Fellowship of the Ring tears were streaming, and we were all WRECKS by the end of Return of the King, as you can imagine.
