i smoked thursday night at my friend's apartment. we smoked two bowls and then watched the movie the weatherman. after the smoking but before the movie, we made a snack platter of grapes and cool whip, cap'n crunch with berries, peanut butter cap'n crunch, blueberry muffin tops cereal, and cheetos. it was wonderfully delicious. we also drank orange soda.

Dear birdgirl -Your sister sounds like such a precious gift, and the loss leaves a wound that may never truly heal. It is wrenching to remember, especially since it is so recent, but those same memories are the treasure you will have forever. It gets a little easier with time.
My mom died in 1999, but still,when her birthday comes (6.26) the missing gets especially sharp, physical even. My thoughts are with you now, my friend (sorry to highjack this thread a bit)

Maybe one day we can share a smoke and some laughs; I hope so!

I hope so, too, Demeter! Yes, she was awesome. I was really grieving for her yesterday. It comes when I least expect it. Today is better. I keep thinking back on last summer at this time and seeing her here with me. In the kitchen. Out by the pool. In the den. This time of year was her last good-feeling time before things began to go rapidly downhill in August till the end came in November. The weed really helped lift her spirits and ease her nausea. I'm so grateful we took that step.
