Charcoal or Gas?
Probably been done before but I don't think since me and a few others have been here. For all you grillers out there, Nochowderforyou mentioned he/she just got a sweet grill in the Rainbowsaresexy thread. It's also grill season. My roomie and I also cooked some damn good burgers the other day. All this gets me to wondering how you guys like to grill. Both have their benefits. Gas is ready to cook instantly and easy to clean. Charcoal is a classic and lets the whole neighborhood know you're grilling. I've heard of studies and expert opinions and all that which say there's no taste difference or one's better. I kinda like charcoal. What's your preference?

^^^ Foreman's looking at me like, "What the hell? How could you forget about me?" But, yeah. The Foreman grill is bad ass, but can't touch a good ol' fashioned open fire grill.
That's why I prep everything else first and do the grilling last. So I can stay down there beside it. I've lost too many meals that way too. But I'm never too stoned to hear and see a steak sizzling when it's time to flip. So long as I'm right there in front of it.

I've always preferred charcoal grills. Gas doesn't give it that "grilled" taste.

gas grills genereally take less time to get everything cooked and our good for cooking burgers and dogs, but, when it's all about taste charocoal wins... but then again, there are also things you can cook and methods of cooking with gas that you cant do on a charcoal grill... we bought a big nice gas grill recently and it's pretty awesome
