Little things you do to minimize the damage... regardless of if it really works

I am pretty sure that its futile, but somehow it makes me feel like all will be fine.

    What about you?
About fifteen years ago, my friends and I were sitting around a table, in my basement, when one of my friends blew smoke into the daylight coming through my basement windows, and said, "Look how much smoke stays in your lungs."

Doing anything aerobic on a regular basis will help the lungs clear themselves, the vaporizer too, and there drugs called 'statins' that can help (see link).

I've toked for 40 years now, and Crispi- I'm not quite 60 yet, that will happen later this month, lol! After all that toking (I don't use tobacco, except to kill ants), my lungs were a mess! Two weeks after getting my vaporizer, my lungs were clear! No more morning cough! It was worth every cent! If I were you, I'd get a vaporizer, ASAP!

I also take vitamin E- Back in the 70s, my Dad was on atomic submarines. He told me that the Navy insisted that all submariners take vitamin E to offset the effects of being in a low oxygen atmosphere. Vitamin E apparently improved work performance. Since smoking affects the level of oxygen in your system, I figured it would work for tokers, too! And Crispi's right- I ain't quitting any time soon! Maybe when I hit 100, but I don't think so! - Granny

That's interesting about the Vitamin E stormcrow! I knew it helped with a few things, especially the condition of my skin, but I've never heard of it helping your body utilize oxygen better. Although, Vitamin E is a huge contributer to helping your body absorb and maintain Vitamin C, which is a powerful anti-oxidant and immuno-support agent, as well as tissue repair and a few different anti-cancer mechanisms. So I wonder if the effects for the submarine crewmen was actually from the E, or the C, or both. Either way, glad you're into studying nutrition too, I love it!
