Book Forum

I just signed up today, and I don't know if this has been suggested or talked about. I notice that there is a forum for television and movies and things, I was just wondering why there wasn't a seperate one for books/magazines. Like a place to discuss books, what you're reading, reviews, reccomended authors and books. Just a thought.

That would be cool...but I wonder if there are enough people on here reading books and enjoying it enough to make a whole forum about it.

Im all for this, even though i dont really read books but still a good idea as im sure a lot of people here do.

Yeah, that was the only problem I could find with a book/readers forum.(if there was a lack of avid readers, where there wouldn't be enough people to keep the forum alive.) Although, it seems as if there are plenty of people here and I'm sure some people read enough to make it somewhat interesting.

i like the idea, but i think a book forum would be dead as hell after a few weeks, if a thread in there titled something other than favorite author or book got to double digits in replies id be stunned. basically i just research on my own for books to read as i dont like one particular kind, just the good kind.

I don't think it'd die. A lot of people could have read the same book, there could be discussions about them. There could be a what are you reading thread in which you state the book and tell a little about it. There are plenty of possibilities.
