    outdoor grow question

where is that at. and i dont need a dead on answer, just a ballpark guess. if i get at least 1 female, do you think i would clear a couple ounces?? and there was an ant hill next to the spot (like a foot away), will i run into any problems because of that?

    outdoor grow question

    A quick answer:

It depends on the strain. There are seriously easily a couple hundred thousand different kinds. Anyone with a functioning brain can cross any 2 different kinds of cannabis to create a new one. You could take White Widow and cross it with Blueberry, and call it Blue Widow. Some strains yeild a lot while some don't yeild as much.

Depends on the soil. Soil makes a huge difference as it is one of the main sources of food for the plant. You have bad soil, results will be weaker, which can result in low potency and lower yeilds.

Depends on the fertilizer you use. There is a huge variety of different kinds. If you use a kind that cannabis doesn't thrive on, then again, potency and yeilds will be lower. Fert. is the other main source of food.

Depends on the conditions. When things get too hot, the plant can stretch giving you loose, light wispy buds. When things get too cold, the growing pattern slows down and the plant can turn purple as a sign of stress. If it's too wet, lower leaves can yellow and die off from getting no air and basically drowning the roots below. Too dry, it can shrivel up losing important fan leaves that the plant uses when flowering time comes.

Lastly, general care. Overwatering, overfeeding, not watering enough, removing much needed leaves and etc can have a huge impact on the end result.

Basically, the question you are asking is impossible to answer.

If you know the strain of seed you are growing, post it and some basic info can be found. There are tons of strain guides out there that give you the yeild info. height and suggested growing conditions, in pretty much perfect conditions, so you know the best care for the strain, and an idea on what to expect.

Ants shouldn't be a problem, but just keep an eye on your leaves, and if they are crawling on your plant(s), then you might want to consider finding the proper ant killer that won't harm your plant.

I'm pretty sure they don't bother with plants though as I've never had a problem with it.

    outdoor grow question

it is bagseed, and i am pretty sure it is a sativa, because the high from the bud was intensly cerebral. no body high at all. i couldnt even begin to guess what strain, but it had a purple hue to it, with brown hairs. but one of the seedlings that is indoors with nolights or anything is a foot tall in two weeks. i am just hoping i get some smoke out of this, cuz my town is dry. and the soil is good. it appears rich, very dark and soft.

    outdoor grow question

If it is a sativa dominant, most sativas generally take longer to finish flowering. Not all of them, but I'd say a majority of them take longer than Indica dominant strains.

Just make sure you water when the soil is dry, but don't let the soil get too dry for too long. Don't water so much that the soil is mucky either. Just a happy medium.

Use the proper fert/food too and protect it from harsh weather like hail, hard rain, frost and such. Very hot conditions for a week or two straight and the plant will need daily watering. Keep an eye on the soil on very hot days.

Do that, and you'll be good. Just take care of it pretty much.

I aint surpirised that a seelding indoors wiht no lights STRETCHED that tall, stretching is not good, but i reckon that doenst matter as you should read some articles on growing cannabis, to understand the main-simple principles of the plant and what it need before worrying about stretching.

I know you will think ''Read some articles? , fuck that!! I cant be bothwered to look for them'' so i will link you to one of the best and simplest:

    http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...cts-guide.html

trust me growing your own is soemthing definatley worth getting into, and to maek sure you dont end up dissapointed with the final result, you should spend some time studying.
