Hermie help
I had a beautiful little girl 2 weeks into budding, when the little bitch showed her true colors!
I noticed at the bottom of the buds; little footballs and I knew I should take her out and shoot her, but I just couldn't do it, shes just too pretty. So I made another flowering chamber and put it in a different room.
Over the next couple of days I spent about 10 hours going up and down each branch removing the little footballs. I waited about 4 days and did another search and found about 1/2 dozen more starting to open, so I clipped them and put them in a vial for pollen. that was about a week and a half ago and since I've found a couple more that were open, so I collected those as well.
Now I realize that I'll probably have some seeds, thats OK. I'm wondering will the plant continue to produce male flowers or is my battle over for the most part? And if the plant fertilizes itself will the seeds be viable and will they most likely produce a specific sex?

Hermie help
Well, you could say you've the battle, but not the war. About the seeds: It depends whether the plant turned into a hermie because of stress. If so, yes.

Hermie help
There is a good possibility you stressed it out some way and it became hermie. If you are ablolutely sure you did nothing to stress the plant it is probably best not to use the seeds. If you did stress it out by light leaks, leaving the lights on for too long, and a alot of other reasons, chances are any female plants which come in contact with the pollen from your hermie female will be feminized seeds. If you dont want the seeds I will take them. Remember your germination rates will be much higher if you dry the seeds out for a month or longer before you germinate them.

Hermie help
Yea, I tossed the seeds and the pollen. I harvested a few days ago and it was definitely worth the trouble, I only ended up with 4 or5 doz. seeds and several Ozs. of killer bud! I wouldn't recommend it but I was already close so I stuck it out. Thanks for all the help.
