They actually keep things simple, because simple things work.

At first i lapped it up, because i was busy and haddnt heard alot about it, just that "they" thought it was muslims - but now i've had a think im not so sure, it IS very dodgy.

But, it wouldnt be the first time, and it probably wont be the last.

And i still dont trust them, and never will. Call me racist if you like, even though im not. When you've had suicide bombers blow them selves up in your city where you lot live, then you'll know WHY i dont trust any of them. I know full well it's extremists, BUT, you cannot tell them apart, so i'm being safe and avoiding all of them.

And belive me, it's pretty damn hard to disappear in London these days, we're the most watched city in the world - and that stems from us being the most violent.

I used to live in London, and if I ever go back there there is NO way I'll be stepping back on the underground if I can help it. I already feel claustrophic on them things, I'd just take my chances on the bus instead. I'd probably cycle everywhere and take the significantly greater risk of dying under the wheels of a bus.

From time to time when I get on a bus or a train anywhere now though I consider the possiblity of a suicide bomber blowing me up, I don't get THAT worried about it, but when I see someone of coloured origin I quietly size them up as a contender for a potential bomber. I know it sounds terrible, but its the media and events of late that has conditioned me to become somewhat cautious in this way. I do it quietly in my head, so there's no harm there really. You can say or think what you like in your head, the only person who you can offend is yourself.

I don't see what your point is in avoiding all muslims LIP. Its not possible to do that. I see little point in avoiding talking to them, what is that going to acheive, you just need to get on public transport and chances are there is also someone from a muslim background on it as well.

I've got loads of friends who are muslim, and I often go to the mosque for food in Edinburgh when I visit, they do really nice halal food there and they opened the mosque up to the general public following the events of 9-11, to offer some sort of olive branch and make for good relations between the christian and muslim communities, to great success. They are not going to harm me, they just want to cook some food because, like me, they are spiritual people, albiet from a slightly different religious background. I say slightly because Islam and Christianity are not so different as people think, for one a huge chunk of the Quran is devoted to jesus and the virgin mary.

I understand where you are coming from LIP, London. I'd be scared as shit if I lived there too now I guess. It bothers me somewhat though when stuff like this happens and everyone starts off on one about muslim this and muslim that though.
