That's kind of what I was thinking too. How the hell can you ignite a gas canister with a mobile phone? And where was the 60 litres of petrol? That's about the full capacity of a mercedes tank. As far as i can see all that could have happened is the car goes on fire, and possibly the gas canisters would explode but wouldn't they just just blow out the top, they surely wouldn't rip apart. I watched a guy on telly showing us a bag of nails that were supposed to have been sent flying outwards with the explosion, I don't see how. And if the car was really a potential danger, they wouldn't be letting anyone near it, there could be a bomb hidden somewhere else in the car! If this is really the work of amatuers who clearly have no clue as to how to build a bomb, what the fuck were using mercedes for? Unless the cars were stolen, they haven't said. And how long does it take before a car gets towed? Would a terrorist leave a car sitting for that long, if it had a huge bomb sitting in the back seat? Unless it was the same guy, and realising he cocked up the first job he decides to try again.
