do you wear a seatbelt in the car?

Always, even before it was law, why wouldn't you want to wear one, I worked in an accident and emergency unit many years ago and trust me after a few months in there you would always wear a seatbelt, those who brag about not wearing one, well put it this way, laminated windscreen and hard dashboard versus very soft human face and skull....No Contest!! only one winner!!

Only if I am driving because the car won't stop making a beeping noise until I put it on. Other than that I will if I remember or if someone tells me to. I think it's really cute when my boyfriend tells me to buckle up, and not in a sexual way.

I try and remember. I broke my back in a car crash because I wasn't wearing one. Since then, I made a good habit of it until I got my motorcycle. Now I feel so much safer in the car, I kinda got back out of the habit. But I still always wear it when riding with somebody else, especially on the interstates.

I ALWAYS wear a seatbelt. Even if I'm just moving my car in a parking lot. It's just a habit. When I used to hang out with my friends in middle school, some of the times, their MOMS would not care if we wore a seatbelt or not- my friends didn't, but I did. They laughed then, but one of my friends who DIDN'T wear a seatbelt- in the back seat- ended up being in an accident, and killing the driver of the car who was wearing one- he flew right over the seat, caused the driver to lose more control, and he went into the other lane on an interstate.

If you're in my car, you WILL wear a seatbelt. Out of safety for ME.

We were doing about 80, maybe only about 60 or so when we actually left the road. Fortunately the dash stopped my face from going through the windshield. Still busted my eye wide open. But yeah. It doesn't take a whole lotta speed to hurt. The brain only has to hit the skull at 13 MPH to kill ya. Tha's what my motorcycle instructor said.

as for the seatbelt thing, no one ever made me wear it that much either but i wear it sometimes...

If i get hurt thats my own choice, but i dont want anyone getting hurt coz they were wearing one.

i used to have that same thought, except i wore one but i did not think it should be law. then someone pointed out this situation. you get in a car accident with someone else, you are at fault, but they arent wearing a seatbelt and die or get very seriously injured in a way that could be avoided. first of all this is going to cause not only some insuranceproblems for you, but also i dont think it is fair to put someone else through the guilt of it all just because they were at fault but you could have saved yourself had you buckled up. if you know what i mean i feel like i havent clarified it well enough.

one thing that really annoys me if i get in a car where no one else is wearing their seatbelts and i put one on and they are like you dont have to wear that in here. like pressuring me to take it off. i dont put pressure on you to wear them so shit dont try to get me to not wear it.
