partially amputated my left index finger with an axe. that was quick, the ensuing pain was pretty bad. but getting a shot of novocaine(or whatever it was) directly into the wound was fucking excruciating.

8 months ago, i was running toward my dorm 'cause it had just started to rain, and i was running up the steps (made of bricks) right outside my dorm, and i was wearing flip-flops and i guess it was slippery because my foot flew out from under me and my right knee went straight into one of the brick steps.

holy fucking god damn that was SOOO much pain. i sliced my knee up really bad from that and i also twisted the ankle on the same leg...

what was even worse about it was that it was homecoming weekend at my college and the tradition is that the freshmen wake up at 6am on homecoming saturday to run a 1/2-mile race called the "freshman cake race" and the winner gets to kiss Ms. Georgia Tech at halftime of the homecoming game. i had to run that race gimping to the max. and this isn't a normal race, either, i'm talking about frat guys interfering and spearing people and throwing stuff and spraying water houses on the racers and stuff.

Broken Back. My buddy flipped his car about 8 times. Smashed my face into the dash too. Woke up on the ceiling. Climbed out and walked across the road while in shock. Then the pain kicked in while waiting for the ambulance. Learned a valuable lesson about seatbelts.

I fell off either a scooter,bike, or skateboard when I was like 9-10 and it I am lucky I didn't hit my head or break anythings. Just my whole body was bleeding, and then I had to walk the rest of the way home. Oh yeah it was a realy steep ass hill I fell off of too. I have scars all over my hands to prove how bad I was bleeding, but lots of the scars on my other body parts are gone. The worst part wasn't actually the falling or w/e, but all the fucking nasty ass scabs everywhere. I couldn't move without feeling them crack and burn. Nothing that bad actually haha. Never broken a bone or anything so I guess i'm pretty lucky.

Most of my serious injuries weren't painful or it was so painful, my mind blocked it out. It was my fifth or sixth birthday when I got my first serious wound. I had gotten a gigantic box of army figurines, terrain, tanks, planes...It all came together. For some reason I was more interested in the box, so I got inside of it and began rocking around back & forth, I guess my family thought it was amusing. Then I fell. The edge of one our couches was damaged and there was a sharp, metallic object protruding from the side. Guess where I fell...Right on the damned thing. Nothing amusing about that. The next serious wound, I was on acid and getting out of a hot tub. I skipped over the steps without realizing that the backyard I was in was undergoing re-modeling. I stepped with all my body weight onto some rebar that was coming out of the ground. Scraped me up pretty bad but I didn't feel it. I was on acid, man. So the most painful injury for me would an ankle sprain.

I fell when I was little and I was racing my freind down a flight of stairs, he tripped first then fell into me... i cracked my head open and had to get medical staples put in the back of my head.. theres a big scar on the back of my head that'd be noticible if i ever shaved my head

i was in the attic, was coming down, was on the 2nd step fromthe top... i slipped, somehow (dunno my wasit was even with the attic lining if not above it) managed to not hit my head on the opening, and landed dead square on my ass (nothing met any resistance til my tailbone hit the ground... i basicly free-fell 8 feet and landed right on my ass.... we have solid wood floors)

after that, i almost blacked out from the pain... so i don't remember it EXACTLy, but i layed on the ground what seemed like forever... eventually i got up... and ran straight to the living room and layed face down on the couch... and my wife says i was doing that wounded animal grunt/scream the whole time...

my god... you cannot imagine the pain i was in... and i've been through alot... i'm pretty damn clumsy... i tend to hurt myself ALOT.. like cutting myf oot wide open right on the ball fo the foot on a broken beer bottle/clam shell while swimming... or catfish thorn striaght through the hand while cleaning it... jumping about 15 feet up in the air (i was above our roof literally) and coming down and smacking my head straight on the metal bar of a trampoline) etc etc...

it was when i was 15 i believe... i convinced my grandma to go buy me a fifth of rum (still my prefered drink ^^) and i drank the whole fucking thing minus 2 shots in literally 15 minutes... i just chugged and chugged... at the time, the pain was so bad, the liquor basicly tasted like water...

after 30 mins or so i started halfassed singing/dedicating love songs to my wife and 'locking foreheads' with her and looking in her eyes (lol, after a fifth of rum it's kinda hard to hold your head up.... and she still teases me about it...) i actually got so drunk... i was past puking... i knew i needed to puke i felt like hell (but hey! the pain was gone and i could sit on my ass!!) i sat in a bath tub.. which the waving of the water usually does it for me... and i ate a raw fuckin egg... nothing was working lol...

i think later that night tho when i closed my eyes it decided to come up..i can't really remember.. i kinda blacked out after the egg...

most painful moment i would say is when my thumb was smashed by a hydraulic press causing the thumb to break and the thumbnail to pop out the skin. it was horrifying, i knew i hurt my thumb bad but when i pulled it out of the glove i was shocked . for a close second would be when i rebroke my collar bone in a car accident a month after it healed.

oh man, i know exactly what you're talkin' 'bout, that's the best kind of drunk, locking heads with a beautiful woman and looking her in the eyes... we were dancing to that ol' buffalo springfield song "for what it's worth"

sorry about the rest of your clumsiness, though.
but you did bring a smile to my face with that memory, and i've not been in a smiley mood AT ALL tonight, lol.
