8 months ago, i was running toward my dorm 'cause it had just started to rain, and i was running up the steps (made of bricks) right outside my dorm, and i was wearing flip-flops and i guess it was slippery because my foot flew out from under me and my right knee went straight into one of the brick steps.

holy fucking god damn that was SOOO much pain. i sliced my knee up really bad from that and i also twisted the ankle on the same leg...

what was even worse about it was that it was homecoming weekend at my college and the tradition is that the freshmen wake up at 6am on homecoming saturday to run a 1/2-mile race called the "freshman cake race" and the winner gets to kiss Ms. Georgia Tech at halftime of the homecoming game. i had to run that race gimping to the max. and this isn't a normal race, either, i'm talking about frat guys interfering and spearing people and throwing stuff and spraying water houses on the racers and stuff.
