It's best to have the 12/12 cycle exact, you may be able to get away with a small variation, but it's risky.
If need be go spend $10 at the hardware store on a cheap timer, it's taboo to alot of growers to use a cheap hardware store timer to power your lights, but in many years I've NEVER had a problem with my $6 timer from ace hardware.
No way to speed up the flower cycle, sorry.

The numbers on this vacation timer that I have don't exactly line up consistently with the printed times. So then I thought "hey, the printed times are in two-hour intervals, so maybe each button is 2-hours." That didn't quite work out, so apparently 6 tabs does not equal 12 hours. Who designed this thing?! It actually works out that if the light and dark periods are each 7 tabs, I have 14 groups to account for the week (2 * 7 = 14), but two of Rating: 5
