Smoking Inside

Everytime I smoke, it's always outside. There's nothing bad about it, i just wanna try to smoke in my room or my basement and just chill. How do I avoid getting caught by someone detecting the smell of the smoke? I don't think that weed smoke is that strong smelling. But like with black & mild, there no way to smoke inside without smell getting all over. So what are some tips? Does the smell go away after a few min or something?

I used to use the 'bounce tube' method.
Take an empty paper towel roll or something like that and put a few laundry dryer sheets inside.
Smoke your weed from a bowl, and cap it with something after each hit. Always exhale through the tube.
If anyone smells anything, they'll ask... "Are you doing laundry?"
Good ventilation helps too, and put some patchouli or something on your air conditioner filter.
