Goodbye Dial Up
Finally DSL is available in my area through the only phone company that services my area. Im so stoked. Im can finally download stuff that wont take hours and sometimes days. No more getting disconnected while Im busy doing something online. No more listening to that annoying thing dial up and connect to the Internet. I believe that making someone listen to the noise it makes when connecting online would be a great torture mechanism.

Goodbye Dial Up
I had nothing but trouble with DSL and went to cable actually. Of course that's just Telus, I don't know what company you're going through. But when I was on DSL the phone filters didn't work and we had constant static on our phone lines, the connection constantly cut out, 90% of the time we couldn't reach customer service, and we had about 2 days every week where service was out in our area. I've never been so disguted with a company's service, but that's just my tale of woe, I'm sure your's will be better

Goodbye Dial Up
All I have ever had since I was a kid has been dial up and I can officially say it sucks ass! But my parents don't use computers so I don't think they see the point to pay more for something faster....but atleast I got a mac so I can turn off the annoying connect sound now
