[VISTA] Windows Defender - advisable to use with Norton?
What is Windows Defender? Is it a virus protector? I heard its not good to run two of these at the same time. Defender just suddenly prompted me that it wasn't running, so I started it up. But I don't know how to turn it off, or if indeed I should. Seems to be slowing my computer down.

just do yourself a favor and turn it off.... all it does is ask you 100 times if you wanna do the simplest thing, even wiping your ass....

I'm sure I turned it off when I installed norton, I can't remember how though. Bloody vista prompted me to turn it back on again, and I thought it should follow its request.
