    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

Spot the mistake, it says the deputy PM is still TBD? I thought it was going to be Harriet Harman.

BBC NEWS | Politics | Cabinet faces: Old and new

Anyway, this lot look like a right shower of scutterheids. See Geoff Hoon, spawn of satan, has manged to get in, and that twat Douglas Alexander. I hate those bastards.

I am not happy about this, but also I don't really care, I wouldn't like anyone who was in power down there, elected or otherwise...

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

Does this indicate any big change or just new names with the same agenda as before?

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

Probably the latter, although Brown is pitching his new cabinet as a fresh start. Some say there was friction between him and Tony over a lot of things, other say they were complicit. It's hard to tell, but with Labours recent record of lies and pulling the wool over everyone's eyes I wouldn't trust anyone in that cabinet. I seem to remember exactly the same kind of rhetoric from Tony Blair ten years ago.

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

So what are like the top 3-5 issues?

I'd imagine here it's the Iraq war, Immigration and Health Care.

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

Depends on the individual I suppose. The war in Iraq is the number one issue I'd say, people are concerned a lot with the higher taxes that the tories told us in 1997 would be the result of new labour coming to power, immigration, failing public services- NHS, education and transport are all in a bad way, no thanks to the Private Finance Initiative, crime is a big problem, and of course drugs, alcoholism, let's just say Gordon has got his hands full.

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

Well, that matter, and Welsh independence, is something that will be decided by Scotland and Wales through a referedum if the leader's of each devolved government can get it passed through their own parliament, it is nothing to do with Brown's government really. I'm not sure where the Welsh government stands on the issue.

    Gordon Brown's New Cabinet

That's strange to me........I know in the states if lets say Texas wanted to split off from the Union it would be a HELL NO! They could pass whatever they wanted but in the end Uncle Sam would dictate the outcome.
