Being high at work...

Now I wouldn't advise this for all jobs, smoking would be a bad idea with some jobs and there are some I know I'd hope the people weren't high while working.

But... I work at a Panera Bread (bakery/restaraunt chain) and so there's nothing too intellectual i have to do while on the job. I've been doing the nightshift a lot during the weekdays over the summer. I've found that if I smoke up shortly before I go in that I end up doing a much better job. Im in my zone, always doing something and it goes really well. It's especially great if im on dishwashing duties, cause I just stay in back and wash dishes and spray water around while listening to my tunes on the cd player we have installed on a shelf above the sinks.

I'm high at work all the time, man. I work in a restaurant kitchen with a bunch of other stoners so..

I work stoned all day. I work faster stoned too. I smoke in my van on the way to work, i get to work, i sit in my office, i smoke in there, and i smoke while i walk around the boatyard. Good job my office is upstairs or everyone would smell it LOL.

I know they're all different, but there's one down the street from me..literally walking distance, that's hiring and I need a job! lol but I don't wanna work there if it totally sucks ass.

meh, it's ok... It's not the best job I've ever had, but it's definately not the worst. The people I work with are all really cool, including most of the managers too, so that really helps a lot. On some days though I just get really sick of it, I suppose that happens anywhere though.... oh yeah it's also good for the discounts on food.

I used to smoke at my old job all the time. Just like you, I'd get really into the work and everything would get done much more efficiently.

I know smoking doing college sucks, ugh math high is torture but I never smoked at my last job, I worked at an amusement park in games and retail. But I need a job now so i dunno...depends on what i get..I hope I can though

I used to go to work blazed everday when I worked at a small organic grocery store. Now I work in a call center, and let me tell you that trying to convince somebody that they messed up their orders themselves while being high out of your mind is quite challenging!

I sound like SUCH an asshole when I'm high sometimes..

"Ma'am, I don't know how it happened, I guess you messed it up."
"What do you I messed it up?"
"There was an option for weekend deliveries ma'am, you didn't take the time to look through it."
"Don't tell me what I did, I know what I did!"
"Well I know you messed it up. Wait, what were we talking about again?"
